as per letter from Chickering and Sons, Rochester, New York
- Carved music rack,
side racks, front sides, and legs
- The
length is 9' Weight is approximately 1200 lbs.
- The
piano has an "English Rocker Action"
- Excellent
to Mint condition
- It has a medium,
NOT heavy
touch, and just about an endless bass string reverb.
- The piano was
purchased from the original owner by Beverly Hughes of Burbank, CA in
1949
- Purchased
from Mrs. Hughes by the Bondurants in 1972

the piano in the early 1990's by Debra Mason (3rd generation piano tech)

Beauchamps in Montreal in 1994:
- All strings,
hammers, pins, etc. were replaced
- The pin block is
original because it did not need to be replaced
- The sound board was
re-conditioned, as it did not need to be replaced
- The pedals were
re-plated
- It
is equipped with a "Damp-Chaser System" for dry climates
- The
piano was appraised April 2001 for $65,900 (Click HERE
